Darren Hawkes, director of Barrow, created The Brewin Dolphin Garden using a blue palette, purple and white express a serene atmosphere fresh. The garden as a whole has the feeling of being a little unkempt, with a feeling of having a past. Granite and slate, plus an aged steel accent used for railings, suggest that this is part of a larger landscape.
